Who We Are

Brent Coble

Brent Coble is a director, digital strategist, creative executive and storyteller with nearly two decades of experience creating content for audiences online. Before co-founding The Kids’ Table, Brent served as Head of Video at Cut and Creative Director at Jubilee Media, where he developed high-performing formats and scaled audience growth through culturally resonant storytelling. At Google and YouTube, Brent bridged the gap between creators and the platform, generating content to excite audiences and create communities. As a Director of Production & Development at Nickelodeon, he played a pivotal role in launching Viacom Digital Studios, directing digital originals and extending beloved IP into new verticals. His expertise in audience behavior, digital ecosystems, and brand storytelling makes him a go-to partner for companies seeking to connect with modern families on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook. With a background that spans content creation, executive leadership, and digital media strategy, Brent brings an unmatched fluency in what resonates—and what performs—in today’s digital world.

Nikki Reed

Nikki Reed is a seasoned creative executive with over two decades of experience developing hit television and film content for kids, families, and YA audiences. With a sharp eye for talent and a deep understanding of what resonates with young viewers and the adults who greenlight content for them, Nikki has played a pivotal role in launching some of the most beloved franchises in modern kids’ entertainment. Before co-founding The Kids Table Content, Nikki led Original Scripted Series for Family & YA at HBO MAX, where she shepherded standout shows like The Gordita Chronicles and a reboot of Head of the Class for the newly launched streamer. She previously served as Head of Film & TV for director Malcolm D. Lee’s Blackmaled Productions, where she oversaw development on The Best Man: The Final Chapters (Peacock) and worked closely on the sequel to Girls Trip. Nikki’s earlier tenure includes senior creative roles at Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, where she developed and launched smash hits including Jessie, Shake It Up, Liv & Maddie, Girl Meets World, and the Descendants and Zombies franchises. She’s known for cultivating early talent—Zendaya, Dove Cameron, and Cameron Boyce among them—and for crafting series that balance mass appeal with fresh, emotionally grounded storytelling. Nikki got her start working for legendary producer Kathleen Kennedy before heading creative for director Jon Turteltaub, where she was part of the team behind box office hits like National Treasure and Invincible. 

Michael Sammaciccia

Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Sammaciccia began his career with Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Prods and Miramax Films. From there, he became Walden Media’s first creative executive, optioning the award winning book Holes and serving as executive in charge of production for the Disney/Walden feature as well as overseeing development and production of The Chronicles of Narnia, Bridge To Terabithia and James Cameron's Ghosts of The Abyss. Next, Sammaciccia wrote, directed, produced, edited, and shot Always Will, an award-winning family film available on streaming. Sammaciccia spent 12 years as SVP of content for Viacom/Nickelodeon, overseeing a pipeline of movies and series which delivered highly-rated content every quarter. Sammaciccia next moved from studio executive to producer and produced Survive for Jeffrey Katzenberg, a 10 part series starring Sophie Turner and Corey Hawkins, and the upcoming doc about indigenous families called You're No Indian, releasing later this year. In addition to The Kids' Table, Sammaciccia is also the founder of Afterglow Pictures, with multiple movies and TV series in various stages of development and production. 

Angela Silak Vargas

Angela Silak Vargas is a creative executive whose 15-year track record in kids and family entertainment spans animation, live-action, and unscripted series and movies, with a specialization in preschool and educational content. Prior to co-founding The Kids’ Table, Angela served as a creative executive in the children’s programming division at Apple TV+, overseeing development and production of premium live-action and animated preschool content, including Emmy-nominated series Interrupting Chicken, Slumberkins, and Get Rolling With Otis. Previously, she spent several years as a development executive at Nickelodeon, where she managed a slate of original movies and scripted series, and she got her start in development on the unscripted side at 3 Ball Entertainment. In addition to her work in children’s media, Angela’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to found Hollywood Resumes, a resume writing and career services business for entertainment professionals, which she has run for nearly a decade. Angela graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and she also holds a Master of Communication Management degree from USC and a Master of Arts in Educational Studies from LMU.

Chris Viscardi

A successful screenwriter of hit movies, a critically acclaimed television creator and producer, and the former head of Nickelodeon Animation. His screenwriting credits include Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Tale of Despereaux, and three films that reached #1 – Snow Day (2000) topped the domestic box-office charts, and both The Loud House Movie (2021) and Plankton: The Movie (2025) premiered as the most-watched films on Netflix. He is the award-winning co-creator, writer and producer of four television series, most notably the iconic The Adventures of Pete and Pete. He is the executive producer of the Emmy-nominated Sanjay and Craig, the Christmas movie Albert, and the digital series Bravest Warriors. Between 2015-2019, Chris was the Senior Vice President of Franchise Properties at Nickelodeon before becoming the head of Nickelodeon Animation where he supervised the development and production of all animated content at the studio. His projects included Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Casagrandes, and the hit YouTube animated series The JoJo and Bow Bow Show Show. Chris led the studio's expansion into podcasts with the Nickelodeon Animation Podcast and Listen Out Loud: The Loud House Podcast and developed and supervised three animated movies for Netflix — Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie, Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus, and Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling.
